Below is a list of some of the services we are able to offer with in our fabrication department.
Sawing
For accuracy and productivity in the cutting of thicker materials such as solid bar and bundles, we have invested in a Prosaw Mega 330 HAS automatic band saw. This heavy-duty hydraulic band saw with double jaw clamping on either side of the blade gives us the versatility to cut up to 330mm in any shape of bar section.
Bending
An Amada Promecam APX CNC controlled brake press allows accuracy and repeatability irrespective of length, thickness or type of material. The 7-axes and a capacity of 80 tonnes ensures even the most complex bending of sheet metal with extreme accuracy on lengths of up to 2500mm. A Curvatrici DS 60 HV Hydraulic Pyramidal Bending Machine ensures the same degree of accuracy and flexibility on tube and angle bars, round tubes, flats and angle bars for flanges, sections and profiles.
Welding
We offer all types of welding including TIG, MIG, Gas and manual metal arc – all undertaken by our team of experienced fabricators, who also offer specialist aluminium welding as part of our quality service.
Tapping
A Roscamat 400 articulated tapping arm with a tapping capacity of M2 to M24 ensures complete accuracy for tapping holes in sheet metal.
Linishing
Linishing is a service offered by very few of our competitors. A Vangroenweghe Turbogrinder enables us to put a satin polish on most metals up to 200mm thick and 650mm wide, including box section.
